Joe Jackson was in Sao Paulo to celebrate his 87th birthday, but instead of being at his party, he was in a hospital recovering from a stroke, local Brazilian media have reported.

The hospital that he checked into reportedly emailed a statement to the press acknowledging that Jackson had been admitted.
According to a report by the Associated Press, Jackson had an irregular heartbeat and was being treated in the intensive care unit.
Janet Jackson just released a video for her new single, “Don’t Sleeep” (sic), and in it she commemorates her relationship with her dad by showing a photo of the two of them when she was a child. Here’s to hoping that Joe Jackson pulls through.
