Why? Well, it seems that Winans, pastor of the Perfecting Church in Detroit, has a strict policy of not blessing the babies of unwed mothers in front of the congregation, the woman, Charity Grace, was told, according to Fox 2 Detroit.

Grace, who recently began attending the church, told Fox she has no plans to return, expressing concern that pastor and his members look down on single and unwed mothers.ย 

Winans has not yet commented, but the decision appears to be a bit dogmatic. Even Pope Francis said in May that the Catholic Church should bless children born out of wedlock. What do you think? Let us know in the comments section.
