In the morning, the President will attend an annual hurricane preparedness briefing in the Situation Room. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the morning, the President will sign the reauthorization of the Export-Import Bank at the White House. As the President has said, this important step will help American businesses create jobs here at home and sell their products around the world β€” all at no cost to taxpayers. Last year marked the highest level of financing in the Bank's 77-year history, as they supported thousands of U.S. companies. Over the last several months, the President met with business leaders in Washington, visited workers at companies like Boeing and urged Congress to reauthorize the Bank to keep building on this progress. This event in the South Court Auditorium is open press.

In the evening, the President will host a Jewish American Heritage Month reception in the East Room. There will be pooled press coverage of the President's remarks.
