Burning Sands takes a look at fraternity pledging through the eyes of Zurich (Trevor Jackson) as he navigates through Hell Week and is torn between doing whatโ€™s rightโ€”not turning a blind eye to hazing and speaking upโ€”and going along to secure his place in the fictional fraternity.

The film, which was a favorite at Sundance, was directed by Gerard McMurray, who was a member of a fraternity at an HBCU, and also stars Alfre Woodard, Steve Harris, Tosin Cole, DeRon Horton and Moonlightโ€™s Trevante Rhodes.

Burning Sands will be launching on Netflix March 10.
