In a recent New York Times Instagram post, the media company explored a new form of dance called “figuring.” Figuring seems to involve sporadic movements and body contorting, which the Times referred to as “spooky.” Created by choreographer Moriah Evans, figuring is said to be a reaction to the current political climate.
