Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is on that stuff. Either that or he and some of his Republican counterparts have a hard time distinguishing fact from fiction. On an appearance on NBC's Meet the Press, McConnell refused to clearly state that President Obama is a Christian. When host David Gregory asked McConnell about last week's Pew Research poll that showed nearly a third of Americans think that President Obama is Muslim, McConnell had to be asked twice by Gregory about his views and that of the GOP. What self-respecting Republican is afraid to tell the truth? Repeat after me: President Obama is a Christian. Now, that didn't hurt much — or did it?
