Stanley Wright, 62, was the father of three children, including actress N’Bushe Wright, who co-starred in the 1998 movie Blade.

The widower, who lived alone, was reported missing early Tuesday by his son. Relatives reported that his car was missing but that several valuable instruments were left in the home.

Wright once taught music at a Brooklyn junior high school, and his talents as a jazz musician allowed him to play at venues like Lincoln Center, his family told the Daily News. He played the bass, piano and drums and gave music instruction from his home. A neighbor, Wanda Daniels, said he offered her two young daughters piano lessons at the bargain rate of $10 a pop.

“He was always a good person,” Daniels said. “He was very particular about who he dealt with and invited inside his home.”
