Bill Cosby no longer has two honors bestowed upon him by the Kennedy Center. Just two weeks after he was found guilty of aggravated indecent assault, Cosby’s Mark Twain Prize for American Humor received in 2009 and a Kennedy Center Honors received in 1998 were rescinded.

According to the Washington Post, the Kennedy Center board of trustees voted to rescind the awards and issued the following statement:
The Honors and Mark Twain Prize are given to artists who, through their lifetime of work, have left an indelible impact on American culture. As a result of Mr. Cosby’s recent criminal conviction, the Board concluded that his actions have overshadowed the very career accomplishments these distinctions from the Kennedy Center intend to recognize.
The Quaalude-dropping pudding popper is the first recipient to have a Kennedy Center Honors rescinded and is currently under house arrest as he awaits sentencing. He faces up to 30 years in jail.
