Method Man (government name Clifford Smith) has pleaded guilty to a tax-evasion charge. You may remember that he was arrested on October 9, 2009 on charges he failed to pay state and personal income taxes from 2004 to 2007. Upon entering his plea, Mr. Smith, who says he did not know he was in violation, made a final restitution payment to New York officials. If he stays out of trouble, his record will be expunged.
