The hardware chain store tweeted the photo on Thursday and then promptly took it down and issued an apology. The company said that they were "deeply sorry for the dumb tweet" and then explained their position on racial insensitivity.

"We have zero tolerance for anything so stupid and offensive. Deeply sorry." Home Depot tweeted.

Then they proved their point.

"We terminated agency and individual who posted it," Home Depot tweeted.
