The 93-year-old reportedly got lost while driving to his daughter’s home around 11:30 a.m., and so pulled over to call her. A man then approached the elderly man and entered his car before taking cash from the former airman’s pants pocket. That suspect then got into another vehicle and fled the scene.

The victim lost sight of his assailant and continued to drive before stopping and getting out to ask two men for help. Instead, those individuals got into his car and drove away.

The gentleman was not harmed in either incident.

Officers are still looking for the three suspects. The victim’s car is a maroon 2012 Honda Accord Sedan with Missouri license plates AA2K8R.
