Daughters Malia and Sasha Obama will be on the trip, along with the first lady’s mother, Marian Robinson.

During the trip FLOTUS will meet with Peng Liyuan, wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping, and take in cultural and historical sites. The trip will be focused on education.

According to the Post, the Obamas will prep for the trip by visiting D.C.’s own Yu Ying public charter school, which has a Mandarin-immersion program.
