Most recently, the former Milwaukee County sheriff and black Trump booster tried his hand at disrespecting Colin Kaepernick, the former NFL quarterback who many believe is being blackballed by the NFL and team owners for kneeling during the playing of the national anthem at football games last year.

On Saturday, Clarke tweeted that Kap was an “opportunist” (ain’t that the pot ... ) and said that when he sees him “in the hood mentoring young black males,” he’ll know his sincerity.

Except that Kaepernick does just that. On the regular. (Kaepernick also gave away $1 million to community-based organizations just last year.)

Well, the people let him know how wrong he was. I think it’s called … “receipts”?

Also, Clarke, who has all kinds of shit to say about black people decrying injustice, now has to revise his master’s thesis or risk losing his degree in security studies (is that a thing?) from the Naval Postgraduate School, according to documents acquired by CNN.

The news outlet found that Clarke’s 2013 thesis, “Making U.S. Security and Privacy Rights Compatible,” contained language lifted from numerous sources, including multiple American Civil Liberties Union reports, The 9/11 Commission Report, the Washington Post and former President George W. Bush’s book Decision Points, although Clarke did attribute most of the sources in his footnotes.

After the story broke in May, the following month, the Department of Homeland Security yanked back an offer naming Clarke assistant secretary in the Department of Homeland Security, and the Naval Postgraduate School removed Clarke’s thesis from its website.

In August, the man who called Black Lives Matter a hate group resigned his position as sheriff and announced the following week that he would join the pro-Trump super PAC America First Action.
