The position will analyze customer Web behavior, study and forecast traffic and conversion performance trends; mentor internal resources to refine and enhance their testing/optimization plans; develop broader digital marketing strategy for Microsoft.com; and influence the implementation of tools and business processes to improve the value of the Microsoft.com network. The ideal candidate will have a combined expertise in data, website, audience and content analytics, project management, business strategy and online advertising. He or she will create forecasts and sensitivity models to determine the impact of business initiatives on current trends and lead the planning and execution of multivariate and a/b/n testing (i.e., A/B split testing) to drive site optimization.

Applicants for this job should have seven years’ experience in Web marketing and/or business analysis, with five of those years in advanced Web-analytics methodologies and in statistical analysis projects — specifically in the areas of regression and forecasting.

He or she must have an MBA, a financial-analysis background and strong communications and organizational skills.
