"The first thing that I did was come here to the police station, sir," Smithย told an officer who was playing Candy Crush.

After his tweets went viral, Smith received an apology fromย Anthony Guglielmi, communications director for the Chicago Police.

Smith has been a visible fixture in his Chicago community over the last several years, and is the Creative Director of Donda's House, the non-profit created by Kanye West that supports young aspiring artists in Chicago.
