Can you place a dollar amount on trust? If so, Offset may be well on his way to winning Cardi B back with his holiday spending spree, which reportedly included jewelry, Christian Louboutins, multiple items from Chanel and several of Hermès’ coveted Birkin bags. The items were cataloged in a now-deleted Instagram post by Cardi, in which she thanked her reportedly still-estranged husband and personal shopping company Prive Porter.

Among the gifts were four rare Hermès top-handle Birkin bags, which start at around $12,000 each, nine different pairs of Christian Louboutin heels including a pair of $1,895 over-the-knee graffiti-print boots, two quilted Chanel bags, including one red style featuring Chanel’s classic chevron quilt print and interlocking C’s ($5,600), as well as a classic black double-flap bag ($5,000), and two diamond Cartier Juste un Clou bracelets, which start at $43,000.
But back to those Birkins: they start at approximately $12,000—and can reach as high as $300,000. We haven’t priced the specific styles Cardi was gifted by Offset, but BET estimates his overall spend was around $100,000.
Of course, Offset’s known for being a big spender: This is a man who spent an estimated $11,ooo on a bedazzled face mask for his birthday a few weeks ago, and who could forget the over $200,000 he and Migos brought along for a shopping spree during their “Carpool Karaoke” appearance with James Corden?
So, maybe it’s just an average holiday for him … or just another round of “please, baby, baby, please” presents we should expect to see as he attempts to win his bride back.
Either way, I think it’s safe to say Cardi has secured the bag(s) yet again.
