Actually, nobody is suggesting that at all. It merely explores the alternatives outside of America, and how BPoC are making that work for them. Whether or not you should move there is a decision all your own. Here is the information - do with it what you will. And if you want to fund my trip to Africa, I can send you

I would love to check out Uruguay, but please keep in mind all these trips are self-funded. It’s why I haven’t been able to get to Africa yet either (not to mention the costly Visa process.) Getting there form Berlin is a pretty penny.

I went when I was 14, and my memories are mostly fond. Beautiful people, rainforest, food and beach. Your comment just hastens my decision to go back. Thanks!

If you ever find yourself back there, I’d recommend croc burgers, emu-egg omelettes and kangaroo steak. Then head down to Margaret River for some gourmet everything, cave diving and surf. Perth isn’t my favorite place in Oz, but there are surrounding areas worth the trouble.

New Zealand is coming up. Just trying to choose which city within New Zealand. I’ve only been to the South Island, which is bloody gorgeous, but full of white people (most of whom are, no joke, really really nice.) The North Island is where the Maori and Islanders are, also the big cities and opportunities. Bay Area?

Totally fair. This series isn’t so much about recommendations, but about presenting options and information to people who are looking. I’m not sure if I listed enough merits of this place. I mean, the brunches are superb. The country is gorgeous. The social benefits are fantastic. But then, I hit a wall.

Non-white nations coming up. Costa Rica is definitely on the list.

That’s an interesting question, and one I’ve asked myself many times, and I’ve concluded that yes, it would make racism more “tolerable” but that’s not to say that would make it any better. Access to proper social welfare programs makes a huge difference, I can’t lie - it made me endure so much more than I “tolerated”

Thanks. Unlike some of the other places I’ve visited, Australia presented me with a pure kind of intrinsic conflict I’ve yet to duplicate in my travels. And the people I interviewed share similar thought processes.

Only one of these things is real.

LOL. To think that all we need to do is look to the reptiles for an idea of what a post-racial society looks like.

Sharks are in the northern part of the continent. Not so much in Victoria (where Melbourne is.) Snakes are everywhere, but not in the most urban parts of the cities. I never saw one in Melbs. I’d be more worried about huntsmen spiders, which are huge and hideous...but non-venomous and mostly harmless.

Drop bears aren’t real. Jelly fish are - but mostly a phenomena of Queensland. Victoria’s waters are too cold (if that’s any consolation.)

Right? It’s more closely related to Finnish than the Slavic languages, I believe. And Hungarian people aren’t necessarily Slavic, but also more closely related to Middle-Asian countries like Turkmenistan.

I spent some time in Miskolc, which is an even smaller town than Debrecen. One man actually stopped, turned around and stared at me walking down the street until I couldn’t see him anymore. And no black people anywhere. I wish I had gone to Debrecen, which I’m told has a larger community of African immigrants.

You are so right about that. It’s mostly Catholic (which, in and of itself isn’t a problem) with a Draconian government that uses that religion to hinder progress (definitely a problem) and LGBT rights are waaay behind Western European countries.

LOL I did. You made him blush a bit. ;)

Possibly. I’ll be exploring Africa later this year. Feel free to check in then, if you can still bother. If not, thanks for reading anyway.
