I don’t really see it that way. Flirting isn’t right or wrong, but another extension of cultural norms and practices. I really enjoy being the instigator in a flirtation, and in Germany, men enjoy it back. Same in Stockholm - where societies are more egalitarian, there’s less of an expectation for men to perform…

All things being equal (haha...I know) I genuinely believe that there would be a mass exodus. If the option were available and on the table, why shouldn’t it be an option? It’s not exactly an ancestral homeland - and the ideation behind picking a new one is a remarkably freeing and cathartic process.

I don’t think there’s any danger of that happening. Frankfurt is the financial district of Germany, and most of the jobs leaving London after Brexit are relocating there. Berlin is just a poor, fabulous hipster town.
