And frankly, that nigga playing clarinet for 17 minutes still sounds better than all the rap that’s out here today.

Mother’s Day, especially for those who have lost their mothers, can be a melancholy time, and in the new music, the ever creative Three Stacks (real name: André Benjamin) pays homage to his deceased parents.

Speaking of, Dre’s baby muva, Erykah Badu, posted notice of the two new songs on Twitter early Sunday morning.

The songs are called “Me&My (To Bury Your Parents)” and “Look Ma No Hands.”

“Me&My” features plaintive vocals (no raps) from Dre, while the other, “Look Ma, No Hands,” is a 17-minute jazz collaboration with pianist and DJ James Blake.

Pitchfork reports that “Me&My” was written before André’s parents passed but was recorded after both had died. “Look Ma No Hands” was recorded late last year. André’s mother, Sharon Benjamin-Hodo, died one day after his birthday in 2013.

Dre joined Instagram with a new verified account just so we know it’s real.
