Film star Wesley Snipes will have to serve three years in federal prison, according to a federal appeals court. In 2008 Snipes was given three years for failing to file income taxes from 1999 to 2001. During that time, prosecutors were able to prove that Snipes made $13.8 million. Snipes appealed the conviction because he and his attorneys thought three years was "unreasonable." Some people think not paying your taxes, especially when you can afford to pay them, is "unreasonable." But then again, some people think having to serve time for having sex with a minor is "unreasonable." Like Snipes' famous movie quote from the cult classic Passenger 57, "Always bet on black." In this case, it's counting against you.
