Driving while Black.

Walking while Black.

Waiting while Black.

Going home while Black.

Sitting while Black.

Losing your keys while Black.

Being near a White Person while Black.

Now, after Daniele Watts — a young actress who made her film debut in Django Unchained — was recently arrested by LAPD after being mistaken for a prostitute after being seen kissing her (White) boyfriend, we have proof “Kissing while Black” is now apparently illegal as well.

I wonder how much farther down this post-racial rabbithole we’re going to go. Perhaps someone should buy some yarn today — while Black, of course — and test if “Crocheting while Black” is a crime as well.

(1:30 edit: The recent news that Watts and her husband might have been having sex in a targeted area definitely does put a new spin on things. As everyone knows, the best place to have car sex with your significant other is in a Target parking lot at night, not the middle of the day. Still, though, I want someone to test out if “crocheting while Black” will get you jammed up too.)
