Due to a recent surgery, Plater has been having a hard time finding a job this past year, and 2 Chainz wanted to help her out.

2 Chainz told the family that he would supply furniture for Plater’s apartment, as well as pay the rent for the entire year.

“It’s hard to keep gas in the car, food in the house and do everything by myself being a single parent. I am on a fixed income,” Plater said. “I love to see stuff like this happen for other people, but I never thought it would happen to me.”

2 Chainz is using the proceeds from his “Ugly Christmas Sweater” line to help Plater as well as other families this holiday season.
