Several recordings show Trump supporters pushing the man and kicking him to the ground. Before the melee, the unnamed man appeared to be shouting “Black lives matter,” which was also printed on his T-shirt, notes the report.

The television news outlet says he was surrounded and attacked after he refused to leave the event.

“All lives matter,” a rally attendee could be heard shouting as the protester was escorted out by security officers.

Trump did not stop his speech and dismissed the disruption, according to the New York Daily News, saying, “Get him the hell out of here! Throw him out.”

Trump’s campaign did not immediately respond to BuzzFeed News about the incident, but campaign spokesperson Hope Hicks told CNN, “The campaign does not condone this behavior.”

No arrests were made, according to Birmingham police.

Trump continues to incur backlash over insensitive statements about U.S. immigrants, most recently Syrians fleeing violence in their homeland.

“So here’s the story just to set it clear: I want surveillance of these people,” he said, reports the Daily News. “I want surveillance if we have to and I don’t care,” he said. “I want surveillance of certain mosques, OK. If that’s OK? I want surveillance. And you know what? We’ve had it before and we’ll have it again.”

This summer, Trump slammed Democratic presidential contender Bernie Sanders for allowing Black Lives Matter protesters to take away his microphone at a Seattle rally of his supporters.

“That will never happen with me,” Trump told CNN in August. “I don’t know if I will do the fighting myself or if other people will, but that was a disgrace. I felt badly for him, but it shows that he’s weak. Believe me, that’s not going to happen to Trump.”
