He kept true to his word, and on Christmas Day he released a new track called “Shakin” that features himself and Babygirl. The song appears on his new mixtape, King Stays King.

“Aaliyah.. This is for you baby,” Timbaland tweeted.

Aaliyah’s whispery and sultry signature voice laces the chorus, with Timbaland’s ad-libs backing her up, as always.

Rest in peace, Aaliyah.
