Harvard Business School grads K.J. Miller and Amanda E. Johnson are the women behind Mented, and in a press release, Johnson spoke about the upcoming Gloss for Grown-Ups collection.

β€œI was a hard-core lip gloss fan but could never really find the right shade or formula,” she said. β€œEverything was either too sticky, too shiny, too frosty, or too sheer, and didn’t compliment my skin tone. I’m proud that we continue to expand the beauty options for women of color everywhere. Now, we, too, can be gloss girls with the shades and formulas we deserve.”

The collection, which is being released in September, has four shadesβ€”Mauve Over, Send Nudes, Berry Me and Baby Brownβ€”with each costing $15, and can be purchased at the company’s website.
