“I could use the rest,” James told Cleveland.com.

At the age of 31, James already has two gold medals from the 2012 and 2008 Olympics and a bronze from 2004’s. Plus, he already has his eyes on another championship with his NBA team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and wants to rest his body.

James’ fellow NBA stars are also sitting out the Olympics. Stephen Curry, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, LaMarcus Aldridge, Chris Paul, Kawhi Leonard and Damian Lillard said they don’t plan to make the trip, either.
