With the cost of everything from food to housing to energy on the rise, it’s easy to see why many Americans are suffering from a serious case of inflation fatigue right now. Well, one Kentucky woman, who reportedly reached her boiling point, was arrested and now faces felony charges for doing the unthinkable for a… extra sauce fee.

Breanna Haynes pulled up to a Little Caesars location in Louisville in January to pick up an order she placed over the phone, according to WDRB in Kentucky. But when an employee of the restaurant told her that the cup of extra sauce she asked for would add a dollar to her total, the 32-year-old woman reportedly was not feeling it and took her frustration out on the store. Court documents obtained by WDRB allege Haynes began knocking things off the counter, including the register and a computer stand. The entire tantrum caused more than $1,000 in property damage to the store.
Although the incident happened in January, WDRB reported that authorities arrested Haynes on September 22 after another violent incident involving her child’s father. Haynes allegedly threw a brick at his car in response to him telling her he was moving out of state.
According to WAVE, the Little Caesars incident was caught on surveillance video and Haynes was ultimately arrested and charged with assault and criminal mischief. While she waits for her trial, Haynes has been ordered by a judge to stay away from the pizza chain and its employees.
While some on social media understood why Haynes was frustrated with the extra charge, most people thought her actions weren’t exactly worth the legal trouble she’s in.
“Just pay for the sauce for crying out loud,” wrote someone on YouTube.
