Pahokee High School student Milan Morris’ dress is covered in images of African Americans killed recently, including Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown and Sandra Bland.

Morris, who also happens to be a basketball player of the year in her area, had her dress designed by Terrence Torrence, a Palm Beach County designer who said he had the design idea for over a year.

“It really conveyed such a strong message,” Morris told the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel. “For me to be in that moment, to be bold and courageous to do that, it was a blessing.”

Morris’ photos have gone viral and have even been shared by celebrities like Snoop Dogg.
