In addition, because the warrant was issued out of state, the arrest led to an automatic extradition hearing. T.I.βs lawyer, Steve Sadow, told TMZ that he spoke to the Clayton County Sheriffβs Office and managed to get T.I. released within two hours of his arrest.
Ultimately, the judge reviewed the incident and decided to toss the extradition order. T.I. β and his family β are used to making headlines. Last year while attending the Atlanta Falcons NFL game, the βWhat You Knowβ emcee, his wife Tiny, and their son King Harris got into a public fight, which seemingly led to a physical scuffle between father and son.
The argument, which the 19-year-old livestreamed on Instagram, started because T.I. and Tiny made claims that King canβt understand what it was like to grow up poor. Earlier this year, T.I. and Tiny vehemently denied resurfaced allegations of sexual assault in a lawsuit stemming from 2005.
The plaintiff, who is only identifiable as Jane Doe, accused the pair of battery, negligence, false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional distress. T.I. and Tiny released a statement that explained their βposition was clearβ and that they were βinnocent of these fake claims.β They also insisted they would not be shaken down.
