Sean “Diddy” Combs may have to spend the rest of his summer and the beginning parts of his fall behind bars, but that doesn’t mean he’s not doing anything productive in the meantime. In fact, we’ve just got some insight into exactly how he’s biding his time and it looks to be a step in the right direction.

As we previously told you, on July 2, Diddy was found not guilty of the more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. He was, however, convicted on the lesser charges of transportation for prostitution. He’s set to receive his official sentence on October 3, which will mark a little over a year since he was arrested and subsequently jailed in September 2024.
But, as he awaits his fate, he’s allegedly getting the help he needs, as noted by TMZ on Tuesday. Per a source close to the Bad Boy Records mogul, he’s enrolled in the STOP Program, which is dedicated to stopping domestic and dating violence as well as sexual assault. The “Hello Good Morning” rapper is also reportedly enrolled in therapy and seeing Dr. Harry K. Wexler for his drug abuse issues.
This update on Diddy lines up with the plans his lawyer Marc Agnifilo told the press shortly after his client’s conviction. He noted that it was a high likelihood that the disgraced hip-hop producer would resume the program for domestic batterers that he reportedly started just before before his arrest.
He also stated at the time that Diddy reportedly sees that there are some issues he needs to fix internally and is actively trying to come to terms with them.
“[He] realizes he has flaws like everyone else that he never worked on,” Agnifilo said. “He burns hot in all matters. I think what he has come to see is that he has these flaws and there’s no amount of fame and no amount of fortune that can erase them. You can’t cover them up.”
