You’ll Be Shocked to See Who Won the $10,000 Prize at the Drake Look-Alike Competition

The viral look-alike competitions have reached a new level of popularity, with Drake being the latest celebrity to be cosplayed by fans.

The event, which took place on Saturday at a nightclub in the Toronto area, saw a variety of fans (both men and women) showing up to see who looked the most like the “For All the Dogs” superstar.

Initially, the winner of the competition was only going to receive cigars and a bottle of Hennessy. But before the competition took place, the 6 God himself caught wind of what was going on and offered to sweeten the pot.

In a screenshot of an IG DM between the rapper and the organizer of the event, Casuals Cakers, Drake wrote, “I’m adding 10 bands to the look alike contest… As the main prize” making this fun event a high-stakes clash to see who could best replicate Drizzy’s persona.

Supporters arrived at the event as several different versions of the “Her Loss” MC, including “Pigtails Drake,” “Durag Drake,” “Boston Drake,” “Montreal Drake, “Stylish Drake” and many other versions.

One person even came dressed up as Drake’s son, Adonis.

Although several men showed up and showed out to win the grand prize, the person who came out on top was a woman. That’s right, “Girl Drake,” who sported pigtails and a sprayed-on beard took home the $10,000 grand prize.

Despite the fun hundreds of people had at the event, some people on social media clowned those who participated. One person wrote, “Drake fans think they are the bastions of all things cool, but they do things like this.”

Another person joked, “Hello 911? I’d like to report a drake lookalike contest in the city of Toronto.”

One user posted, “the Drake lookalike contest is just a drag show for men.”

The fans of the Toronto rapper didn’t seem to care though, as they simply enjoyed a night out dressed up as their Canadian king.
