On Sunday (Sept. 15), Ryan Wesley Routh was arrested after U.S. Secret Service agents βopened fire on a gunmanβ carrying an AK-47 style rifle near the boundary of Donald Trumpβs Florida golf course where the former president was golfing.
Whatever your idea on his ultimate intentions, it seems that Routh is dead to rights in his involvement in what could be the second assassination attempt on Trump in nine weeks. Yet Trump fixed his mouth to somehow blame President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for the attempts on his life.

βTheir rhetoric is causing me to be shot at, when I am the one who is going to save the country and they are the ones that are destroying the country β both from the inside and out,β Trump told Fox News Digital Monday.
He also said that the left βhas taken politics in our country to a whole new level of Hatred, Abuse, and Distrustβ and that βit will only get worse.β Trump then brought up immigration, despite the lack of evidence the person arrested in relation to the alleged assassination attempt was an immigrant.
In both attempted assassinations, the suspects were white, Republican men β which are his primary base. Instead of acknowledging that it was his own supporters that seemingly tried to end his life, Trump would rather continue to push false claims about minorities to keep his base happy.
This country is experiencing a new level of hatred, in large part because of Trumpβs perpetual and hateful lies. His choice to blame Biden and Harris for his life being in danger isnβt shocking in the least considering he insists on pushing lies perpetually, from the βgreat replacement theoryβ to painting Haitian immigrant as pet-eating savages.
