According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, early Sunday morning, Shanika S. Minor confronted Tamecca A. Perry, 23, who was 39-40 weeks pregnant, over music coming from her apartment. The two argued, and according to the criminal complaint viewed by the newspaper, Minor pulled a gun and fatally shot Perry, also killing the unborn child. Minor was charged Wednesday with first-degree intentional homicide for both deaths, and police have issued an arrest warrant.

The Journal-Sentinel notes that each count of homicide comes with a sentence of life in prison if there is a conviction.
