SWAT-team members were sent to a neighborhood in Racine, Wis., when Kim Polk called authorities after a dispute over dog feces led a neighbor to threaten to attack her with a bow and arrow and a machete, reports the New York Daily News.

Once police arrived, Polk’s neighbor threatened the police, too, with with his bow and arrow. He then released his tiny dog onto police.
Police are shown on cellphone video shooting the dog. The homeowner who released the dog was arrested, but his name and charges have not been released.
A Facebook page called “Justice 4 Angel” was created to petition for an investigation into the death of the dog, which they claim was running away from the officers when it was shot. Racine police Chief Art Howell has agreed to investigate.
