Disturbing footage of an all-out brawl was caught on tape from a Carnival Cruise. It was the ship’s final day of their voyage and they were headed back to Miami, but without a group of passengers punching, hitting, and kicking first. And apparently, the fight started over a petty reason.

It all went down on Monday (Aug. 18) around 2 a.m. on Carnival’s Sunshine cruise, per the New York Post. As passengers began to line up for food, a fight became to break out between at least two dozen passengers.
“Where the f*ck is security?!” one passenger could be heard screaming in the now viral-video of the brawl. During the fight, you can see haymakers being thrown, folks falling– and being slammed– to the floor, and fighters trading blows. Multiple security guards can be seen on the video trying to break it up, but one was seemingly overwhelmed and fled from the scene himself after shoes went flying.
Mike Terra, the passenger who filmed and uploaded the fight to social media, said the brawl was “over chicken tenders” and he called it “crazy.” He captioned his video: “I always hear carnival is ghetto/ratchet I been cruising for years but this my 1st time seeing some action on a ship I was on YNs was tripping.”
When asked by the outlet to confirm whether the fight was really over fried deliciousness, Terra confessed he and his group “weren’t close enough to know why [the fight] really started, we just knew they were in line for food.”
This isn’t the only time a brawl has broken out on a Carnival cruise.
In April, at least 24 people were permanetly banned from Carnival after they fought onboard while disembarking in Galveston, Texas. One man was charged and arrested.
On the Carnival Magic in 2022, around 60 people were involved in a fight while on the dance floor. Instead of having a good time and jamming to music, folks began to fight so much that the Coast Guard were forced to escort the cruise ship to Pier 88 in New York.
