As we previously told you, Diddy is expected to finish his prison sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey following his October sentencing to 50 months in prison following a conviction of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. His initial expected release date was later announced and set for May 8, 2028.

Now, however, it seems that date is in jeopardy, according to Page Six, and it couldn’t come at a worse time. While there haven’t been any official reasons cited for the delay of Diddy’s release, the decision to push it back comes amid allegations that the disgraced music mogul has violated some rules inside the prison.

Chief among the broken rules is that the Diddy-Dirty Money creator allegedly consumed “homemade alcohol” that was made with fermented sugar, Fanta soda and apples. Diddy has also been accused of joining in on a three-way phone call, which is prohibited at the facility.

While the hip-hop mogul or his children have yet to respond to these new allegations, a spokesperson for Diddy told TMZ recently that he’s “focused on adjusting, working on himself and doing better each day” and pushed back on the allegations.

“As with any high-profile individual in a new environment, there will be many rumors and exaggerated stories throughout his time there — most of them untrue. We ask that people give him the benefit of the doubt, the privacy to focus on his personal growth,” they said.

Whether or not these allegations are true, Diddy will have more than enough time to work on himself as his new prison release date has been set for June 4, 2028.
