Itβs safe to say Macy Gray is not too happy with the judges of βThe Masked Singer UK.β The βI Tryβ singer was revealed to be a competitor on the latest season of the beloved reality TV singing series, but when things didnβt go her way, well, she was not having any of it.
Gray competed in three episodes of the competition series wearing the Toad in the Hole mask but was not saved by the judges Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan, and Maya Jama on the latest episode. After the panel chose to save the βBearβ character instead, Gray (still masked) stormed off the stage, leaving the panel, host Joel Dommett and the audience stunned.

ββToad in the Holeβ is gone already,β Dommett said to the audience after the unexpected moment. βWhat is going on?β Gray eventually did return to the stage for the unmasking, revealing herself to the audience and the panel, who correctly guessed it was in fact 57-year-old Grammy award winner.
In the post unmasking Q&A, Gray kept it short with one-word answers for host Dommett. When asked questions like whether or not she had fun on the show, she simply replied, βyeah.β

Gray, who has yet to disclose why she had such a reaction, is no newcomer to world of βThe Masked Singer,β as Entertainment Weekly points out. Gray made it to episode six in the third season of the Australian version of the wildly popular series as βAtlantis,β and competed in the 10th season of the American version of βThe Sea Queen,β placing fourth.
She had much more to say after being unmasked during her run on the U.S. version of the series, saying to the audience, βItβs an awesome show, and itβs always fun with the fans.β She added, βBe good to yourselves, be good to each other, donβt take no shit off nobody.β
