White Influencers Are Revealing the Real Reason MAGA Chose Trump Over Kamala…and It Wasn’t ‘The Economy’

A Growing number of White social media influencers are calling out MAGA voters for the (not so) shocking reason they didn’t vote for Kamala Harris.

After eight months of President Donald Trump‘s second term, MAGA folks are starting to regret their votes. More than that, however, they’re beginning to admit the real reason to chose Trump over former Vice President Kamala Harris… and the answer isn’t as shocking as you may think.

On social media, a growing number of White Americans are calling out white MAGA voters for racial bias against Harris, disregarding all the past and clear examples of Trump voters being racist towards the Democrat even before she began her campaign, PBS reported. Of course, it’s way too late to take back their vote, but it seems white Americans are challenging disappointed Trump voters for hiding underneath the guise of concerns for the economy.

“Oh, why do poor white people vote against themselves,” @kelliesnider.art began asking on TikTok. “They vote for Trump and all of the other MAGA politicians only to have every promise broken, prices go up [and] social supports evaporate.” The white woman attributed the problem to a “psychological wage of whiteness–” a phrase coined by W.E.B. DuBois. “They’re convinced by the elites that they’re better than Black folks, better than immigrants, latinos, LGBTQ folks,” she continued.

According to Pew Research, 93 percent of Trump voters said the economy was the “most important issue” for them back in September. But so far, the stock market has underperformed under Trump — compared to his predecessors — in direct result to his tariff war, attacks on immigration and ongoing civil conflicts he incited.

Statistics from the Labor Department found potential signs of economic distress, although we’re too soon into Trump’s second term to really feel the impact of his policies, we previously reported.

The facts point to one thing: This can’t be the economy MAGA supporters were dying to get back to. About 23 percent of Americans are actually happy with the state of the economy now, a Pew Research Study found. Even the economists are scrambling to figure out what’s going on!

“They’re convinced that being white puts them in the same league as the elites,” she added. Regular MAGA Americans feel they can relate to the president, who’s net worth is over six billion. You know who they said they can’t relate to? Harris…and the reason why probably won’t shock you.

An unnamed white man put it in simple terms.”People told you they were voting for him because of the economy. They were lying,” he began, according to @bmbempower8 on TikTok. “I think people voted for him because too many people in this country couldn’t even think about voting for a Black female.”

We didn’t forget when Trump attacked Harris’ ethnic identity, made fun of her name and accused be of changing her race to propel her political career. He did this all while promising voters he would fix the economic damage done by the Biden administration. But, so far, those promises haven’t been fulfilled.

“Millions of small business owners are now paying import taxes on the goods that they build and sell,” @ohhthatsrich said on TikTok. He also pointed to the tragically confusing case of Kilmar Ábrego García, the Salvadoran man with an American wife and child, who was wrongfully deported, brought back to the U.S. just for the Trump administration to threaten to deport him again, which is “enforcing millions and millions of dollars in charges to tax payers,” @ohhthatsrich added.

Meanwhile, Trump continues his attacks against Harris, even pulling her security detail ahead of her scheduled and publicized book tour. But as the president adds trillions of dollars to the national debt, ultimately, it’ll be regular Americans– many of his supporters– who pay the price.
