Each day, it’s getting harder and harder for President Donald Trump’s social media pages to outdo themselves…but don’t fret! It seems the official White House page has a new superhero to save the day and it’s *checks notes* Trump?!?

In light of the new “Superman” movie hitting theaters, the White House decided to get in on the viral sensation by posting the president as none other than the comic book superhero. “THE SYMBOL OF HOPE. TRUTH. JUSTICE. THE AMERICAN WAY. SUPERMAN TRUMP,” the post read.
And of course, Black America had hilarious commentary on the matter.
“You have got to be f*****g kidding me,” TikTok user @just_stating_facts_2.0 said reacting to the questionable social post. “There’s no way this is our government.”
This isn’t the first time MAGA has referred to Trump as a hero, specifically as Superman. In fact, back in 2020, Trump fans chanted “superman” after he recovered from COVID-19.
But despite Trump and his supporters making comparisons between him and Clark Kent, other Black folks on X quickly noticed the hypocrisy. “Let’s just say if there is SuperMan out there somewhere. We do know that he wouldn’t be SELF-CENTERED SELF-INDULGED & SELF-RIGHTEOUS,” @Bossiah1977 wrote. “He wouldn’t beg for a Nobel Peace Prize! He wouldn’t be ignorant overweight & wearing pull-ups trying to rescue ppl! Definitely not racist! Definitely not orange!”
Others found comedy in the situation. @lifeisbreezy said “LMFAOOOOOOOOOO superman: a movie about an undocumented immigrant fighting an evil billionaire and winning,” noting how Trump’s continuous attacks on immigration would probably put him on the opposite team of the hero.
@Jay_byproxy agreed adding, “Holy airball. These losers really have no comprehension.”
Many people online mentioned the irony, considering Trump’s current deportation mandate. “Trump is only repping this because Superman is the only illegal immigrant he can’t deport methinks,” @KubologyVictim tweeted.
“If Superman was real, he would come after Trump,” @therealpofolk said on TikTok. “Ain’t no ifs, ands, or buts about it… And I know for a fact, Trump would have aligned with mother f*****g Luther,” referring to one of Superman’s infamous nemesis, Lex Luther.
Others back on X said the White House post might just violate “Ummm, I’m just guessing, but there just might be a copywrite violation going one here! As well as a trademark violation,” @StewartGB61 said.
