As we get closer to Election Day, both Democratic and Republican supporters are doing everything they can to besmirch the candidate of the opposing party...with some stooping to vulgar lows.
Last week, a billboard appeared on a highway in Newark, Ohio showing Vice President Kamala Harris in an extremely inappropriate position with a vulgar message, according to The Newark Advocate.

One side of the billboard showed Donald Trump, with a quote that read, βIn reality, theyβre not after me, theyβre after you. Iβm just in the way.β
The other side showed a fake image of Vice President Harris, on her knees with her tongue out with words that read, βKamala canβt talk right now. Sheβs at a baby shower.β
Initially put up Friday afternoon, the billboard was shortly taken down on Sunday after Kennedy Outdoor Advertising was made aware of it.
Clayton, a spokesperson for the advertising company, told The Newark Advocate, βOnce it was brought to our attention how vulgar the advertisement actually was, we immediately removed it. We donβt condone anything like that, not in any way whatsoever. Whether we agree with it politically or not, we would never agree to do anything like that. That was definitely a mistake.β
He also confirmed that the billboard was paid for by RK Towing, a business based in Newark, Ohio. But why was the billboard put up in the first place if it was deemed inappropriate?
βWe donβt always look and try to analyze every detail in the design. We deal with a lot of artwork so we donβt analyze every little thing. It may only be one person looking at the artwork,β Clayton said.
βIf there would have been three to four people looking at this artwork, it probably would have never made it to the billboard, obviously. But if thereβs one person reviewing it, they may not think anything of it or realize the sexual innuendo that the ad presented. Itβs not like the ad goes through five or six people to review and approve it,β he continued.
