Cardi B is gearing up for baby number three. That’s right, the rapper has announced that she’s expecting her third child, just days after filing from divorce from Offset.
As People reported, Cardi broke the news on her official Instagram account, in a post that currently has over five million likes. Rocking a red dress and showing off her belly, wrote in the caption:

“With every ending comes a new beginning. I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do!”
She added, “It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through.”
As The Root reported, the news came just hours after the revelation that Cardi filed for divorce from Offset once again. Per Page Six, the divorce is “not something that happened overnight.” A source told the outlet, “They’ve both been on the same page. There wasn’t [pushback]. They’ve grown apart and that feeling has gotten stronger over time. It’s become unavoidable.”
Cardi and Offset share two children together, a daughter Kulture, 5, and son Wave, 2. According to Page Six, Cardi is working on maintaining primary custody of their children.
This is not the first time Cardi has filed from divorce from Offset, first filing in 2020. By November of that year, the divorce was dismissed “without prejudice.”
