Wendy Williams Finally Breaks Silence on Diddy’s Current Mess

The iconic radio and TV host had been vocal about Diddy for years prior to his arrest.

Wendy Williams has finally broken her silence on Diddy. The radio and TV host gave an interview to Daily Mail on Monday, providing her famous insight into the madness circulating the media mogul following his Sept. 16 arrest.

Williams, who built a career out of dishing about celebrity gossip, had been very vocal about Diddy and his alleged behavior for years, which she referenced in the interview. β€œWhat is really weird is that I have been told by so many people β€˜Wendy you called it,’” she told the outlet. β€œIncluding some people from my family who have said the same.”

Williams also spoke out about the video footage of Diddy assaulting Cassie that came out this year, referring to it as β€œhorrific.” She added, β€œBut now you have to think, how many more times? How many people? How many more women? It’s just so horrible.”

Since the Diddy drama ramped up this year, fans have been clamoring for Williams’ thoughts, with many posting that they wish her show, β€œThe Wendy Williams Show,” was still on today because she’d use her classic β€œHot Topics” segment to dish out all the thoughts.

Williams spent decades speaking about gossip other hosts wouldn’t dare touch. While it certainly made her some enemies throughout the years, it built her a dedicated fanbase that knew every morning some serious tea would be spilled.

Since 2022, however, Williams has been away from the public eye as she privately deals with her aphasia and dementia diagnosis, as well as guardianship issues. Luckily, the host had a health update for the Daily Mail, telling the outlet that she is β€œdoing good.”

As The Root reported, Diddy was arrested last month by federal authorities. The disgraced rapper is facing three charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution, and is currently being held in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York.
