WATCH: Tyrese Tells Kevin McCall the Real Reason Why He Refused to Help Him

Kevin McCall recently aired out his issues with Tyrese Gibson, but Gibson confronted him— on camera— to address his comments.

Singer Tyrese Gibson has had enough with what he says are false narratives being thrown around by fellow singer Kevin McCall about him. And now, he’s calling him out about it.

As we previously told you, McCall made headlines after giving a tearful interview on the “Back on Figg” podcast in October. During his appearance, he revealed that he was using EBT to feed himself, despite having worked with big time collaborators like Chris Brown in the past.

McCall also shared at the time that his housing situation took a bad turn and left him “living on the streets.” That’s when he said that he would’ve thought his friend Gibson would’ve let him stay at his “big ass house” in Atlanta while he got back on his feet.

He claimed Gibson never let him do that and instead told McCall that he would only vouch for him if he turned for help to anybody else. That wasn’t good enough for McCall as he, in turn, felt some type of way about the offer and described it as “weirdo sh*t.”

Fast forward to November, when it now appears as if McCall’s words finally got back to the “Lately” singer. The two ran into each other at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony over the weekend and decided to clear the air– with Gibson doing most of the talking.

During his explanation, he explained how he saw McCall’s interview and said he would’ve understood his narrative if it was all just a ploy to go viral– he would’ve just appreciated a heads up. Gibson then went on to reveal the real reason why he never invited McCall into his home and let’s just say, everything actually makes a lot of sense.

Describing how he was dealing with own set of personal drama with the mother of his eldest child all while McCall’s domestic violence allegations were making news, Gibson explained: “My baby mama’s sh*t, n*gga trumps yours by a thousand times. So you think I’m about to move a n*gga in when his own baby [mama] accuses him of domestic violence, fighting for his own daughter?”

Gibson continued: “I’m about to move a n*gga like you into my sh*t and f*ck my sh*t up? It ain’t gon’ happen. So I said ‘Look ‘cuz, whoever you know, call ’em. And if they not f*cking with you, they might end up f*cking with you if I’m on the phone to at least stamp it.”

While we don’t hear McCall saying too much, later pictures and video of the two began circulating from the event that showed them both seemingly in good spirits and jovial with each other, per Complex.
