WATCH: San Diego Karen Calls Police on Black Woman For Feeding the Homeless, Their Response Will Surprise You

Karen's plan to end the Black woman's event backfired, as police allowed the Black woman to continue helping the community.

One thing we know about KarensΒ is that they will get angry at you even if you’re doing a noble thing. Just look at this white woman in San Diego who called the authorities on a Black woman who was hosting a Feed the Homeless event.

In a video posted to X by Shirley Raines, a Black woman, she’s seen recording a Karen, whose identity remains unknown, as she calls the police.

Video will return here when scrolled back into view

The video begins with Raines saying, β€œThis b***h wanna be on her phone.” She then asks, β€œGirl, why you don’t want them people to eat? Why you so miserable?”

The Karen ignores the question.

The clip then cuts to Raines talking to police officers as she continues to host her event. Raines then adds, β€œThat’s her whole problem. She wanna control the narrative. We could have had a conversation had you stepped to the side and waited a moment like I asked you to. But now, there’s no conversation to be had. She’s disrespectful.”

Although the Karen attempts to get Raines in trouble with the local authorities, it backfires on her, as they complement the event she’s putting on for the homeless.

One officer tells Raines, β€œAs far as I’m concerned, you have just as much right as anyone else to be here.”

Another officer adds, β€œWe’re gonna leave. You guys keep doing whatever you’re doing.”

Fittingly, the video ends with Raines giving one of the officers ice cream as they go on their merry way, and the Karen is left frustrated that she couldn’t stop this Black woman from helping homeless people in the community.

As seen in the video, Raines had no problem confronting the Karen. But that’s because this isn’t her first rodeo. As someone who works with Beauty 2 The Streetz, a non-profit organization that helps marginalized groups, she has run into several people who have done things like Karen in the above video.

On TikTok, where she has more than 5 million followers, Raines posts all the work she does with Beauty 2 The Streetz and any confrontations with people who have a problem with her work.
