Every time Charlamagne Tha God appears on βThe View,β you know something interesting is probably going to happen. On Wednesday, the radio personality joined the talk show for its βHot Topicsβ segment and things got a little spicy between him and co-host Whoopi Goldberg.
While discussing President Joe Bidenβs pardon of his son, Hunter Biden, the EGOT winner and βThe Breakfast Clubβ host got into a back and forth about whether the president is a hypocrite for changing his mind on the subject.

Charlamagne believes that the Commander-In-Chief wasnβt being truthful when he originally said that he wouldnβt pardon his son, believing this was always the presidentβs plan. This is where Goldberg jumped in to question his opinion. βIβm gonna stop you for a second,β she said. βOnly because you donβt know that it was a lie. We donβt know why he changed his mind.β
With the media personality asking the comedian/actress if she βreallyβ thought the president just suddenly changed his mind during Thanksgiving weekend, Goldberg explained that she thought he became tired of following political expectations as figures like Trump continue to push legal and ethical boundaries.
βI think he changed his mind because he got sick of watching everybody else get over,β she said. βAt some point, you get to the place where you just go, βso Iβm just going to follow the straight-and-narrow always,β because thatβs whatβs expected of Democrats.β
The radio host went on to blame Democrats for putting themselves in this position by claiming the βmoral high groundβ when βthey donβt have to do that.β
This led the βSister Actβ star to ask, βSo weβre mad at him because he changed his [mind]?β Charlamagne responded, βIβm not mad at him for pardoning Hunter Biden.β Goldberg joked back, βYou sound like youβre mad!β
When the Oscar winner said she didnβt think the president was wrong for pardoning his son, Charlamagne confirmed he thought the situation was βridiculous.β This led the legend to proclaim, βNo, youβre ridiculous.β
This was followed by the βGet Honest or Die Lyinββ author clarifying himself, saying, βI didnβt say you were ridiculous, Ms. Goldberg. I would never say that. I just think thatβs [ridiculous].β This was met with Goldberg inviting him to βcome over here and give me a kiss.β Which he did.
After a commercial break, she called Charlamagne her βnew sex partner,β so clearly no oneβs feelings were hurt by the spirited argument.
