Jamie Foxx isn’t usually one to make headlines for getting out of character, but that all changed recently. Trust us though, the reason why he’s trending is more than understandable. Let’s get into it.

Over the weekend, the Oscar Award-winning actor hosted a private, Halloween-themed, function–namely SKVLK Fest–with his youngest daughter Anelise at his home in Los Angeles. The crowd was limited to kids and young adults from ages 14-22 and featured a handful of musical guests who stopped by to perform including Leon Thomas, Tyga, YK Osiris and GloRilla.
And while things were going pretty well, the event took a turn when it was time for GloRilla to take the stage. As she was gearing up to start rapping, someone in the crowd decided to throw a bottle in her direction. Thankfully it missed, landing nearby her on the platform. Naturally, after seeing what happened, the “TGIF” rapper subsequently called out whoever was responsible and issued a slight threat.
“I don’t care how young you is, you can get your ass beat,” she said in a video captured at the event.
She later yelled: “Act like you got some motherf*cking sense. Don’t throw nothing on this f*cking stage.”
Seeing the disrespect, Foxx himself popped out and decided to pop all the way off on the rude guest.
“Who did it? Why would you do some sh*t like that, goofy a** nigga? Why? Goddamn,” Foxx could be heard saying in a viral video. “Why would you throw something at the stage, man? This is for free. Man, y’all don’t deserve this sh*t, bro. That’s f*cked up, bro. Man, I’m so disappointed.”
He went on to say that while he loved everybody who came out, he hated whoever decided to lob the bottle at the “Yeah Glo!” rapper because they “f*cked the party up.” Foxx also expressed his disappointment at the fact that this happened at his own house and threatened to shut the whole thing down.
“You throw some sh*t, and you throw some sh*t in my house? In my crib? Nah, man, that ain’t cool though. That’s not cool, bro. Should we just pull the plug?” he said in the clip.
Thankfully, despite all the ruckus, GloRilla eventually came back out to perform a couple songs and got the party back going again. Note to anybody who’s pulling up to Jamie Foxx’s house though for an event: you better come correct or don’t come at all!
