When the remake of It dropped in 2017, it spawned an influx of memes that included its horrifying star Pennywise creeping in sewers, yellow raincoats and red balloons. Today, in 2019, a clown means something equally as scary: being made out to be Boo-Boo the Fool.

However, Pennywise is back to take his creepy crown and to terrorize the seven children who have now grown up, entrenched in trauma.

Per the film’s IMDb page:

Twenty-seven years after their first encounter with the terrifying Pennywise, the Losers Club have grown up and moved away, until a devastating phone call brings them back.

It Chapter Two stars Isaiah Mustafa, Bill Skarsgård, Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, Bill Hader, James Ransone, Jay Ryan, Andy Bean and more.

“Something happens to you when you leave this town,” Mike (portrayed by Mustafa, who threw me for a loop when I realized he was the Old Spice Guy) utters through a shaky voice. “The further away, the hazier it all gets, but me? I never left. So yeah, I remember all of it.”

Suddenly, the name “Pennywise” is uttered and there’s an abrupt shake causing the fortune cookies on the table to burst into the creepiest Harlem Shake I’ve ever seen. Damn. Looks like their fortunes aren’t so sweet.

It Chapter Two crawls from the sewers and into theaters on Sept. 6.
