WATCH: Gabrielle Union’s Daughter Kaavia is Feeling Her First Silk Press

The five-year-old can't stop whipping her hair back and forth and the internet is loving it.

There’s nothing like the feeling you get when you first step out of the hair salon. You know, that I know I’m cute, but you can tell me anyway, feeling that makes you want to run your fingers through your hair non-stop just to make sure you’re not dreaming.

If you haven’t had a chance to get to the salon yourself (we won’t judge), you can live vicariously through an adorable little girl. Actress and entrepreneur Gabrielle Union just gave her nearly 22 million Instagram followers a little something to brighten up their feeds – a peek inside her 5-year-old daughter Kaavia’s first silk press.

In a July 23 Instagram post, Union shares a video of Kaavia’s silk press process from shampoo to flat iron using products from Union’s Flawless by Gabrielle Union natural hair care line and PROUDLY line of skin and hair care products for kids.

β€œi think i’m β€œpressed” 🀭 #firstsilkpress,” The β€œBring it On”star captioned her post.

When she’s done, Kaavia is so in love with her new look that she can’t stop whipping her hair back and forth and reaches for the ultimate hair accessory – a tiara.

β€œI love it,” Kaavia says as she admires herself in the mirror for the first time. β€œNow, I don’t have to put my old wig on.”

Mom assured Kaavia that her new look is just one of the many ways she can style her natural hair.

β€œYou can always go to your curls,” Union said.

Fans couldn’t handle the cuteness overload. Union’s post has received over 109,000 likes to date, and users left lots of love for mom and daughter in the comments, writing:

β€œThere are levels to your Black Girl Magic @kaaviajames πŸ‘‘β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️,”

β€œLittle Black girls loving what they see in the mirror πŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ,”

β€œThe Tiara took me out .. we should all wear tiaras after our silk press!!” and

β€œAin’t nothing like that first press!!! ❀️”

But the five-year-old couldn’t help but throw a little shade at her doll, Coco, who didn’t get the salon treatment. β€œCoco doesn’t have natural hair. She has like tangled hair,” Kaavia said.
