Well, it looks as if the people who had issues with Vince Staples couldn’t put their money where their mouths were and donate the $2 million he requested in exchange for completely disappearing.

On Wednesday the rapper announced that he was going to cancel the GoFundMe that was set up, as well as refund all the “little people with big voices,” making it clear for the folks in the back that he expects “to hear no further slander.”
To top it all off? Not only is the rapper tossing the haters’ money back in their faces, but he announced his intentions to match all the donations made and donate the total to the Michelle Obama Library in his hometown of Long Beach, Calif.
Staples’ campaign, which was titled #GTFOMD (Get the Fuck Off My Dick), was launched earlier this month as a means of giving his haters a chance to get him to shut up forever.
“On GoFundMe.com you can decide to donate to the cause of $2 million, which will allow me to shut the fuck up forever and you will never hear from me again,” he stated in a classy, sincere (and utterly troll-perfected) video that accompanied the campaign.
“No songs, no interviews, no anything. If not, you can choose to let me do what the fuck I want to do, when I want to do it. Get off of my dick or fund my lifestyle. The choice is yours. Either way, we appreciate you,” he added.
Of course, as one might have come to expect by this point, it all served as a pretty sweet promo for a new single, also titled, “Get the Fuck Off My Dick.”
