Video Shows Ray J Lying in Las Vegas Hospital

Ray J has been admitted into a Las Vegas hospital for pneumonia, just four years since he struggled with the lung infection in 2021.

Ray J has been relatively quiet since his social media outburst in December after Beyoncé reportedly did not speak to his R&B icon sister, Brandy, during “The Boy Is Mine Tour.” However, he has found his way back into headlines—not for a social media controversy, but for a scary health update.

You may remember that four years ago, in October 2021, the “One Wish” singer feared for his life when he was admitted to a Miami hospital for non-COVID pneumonia, according to the Daily Mail.

“I thought it was over. I started praying and knew God is good, so I just kept praying,” Ray J told TMZ at the time.

After being put on oxygen and using an inhaler to help him breathe, the singer was released later that October and stepped right back into his hectic schedule, per TMZ.

Now, the same lung infection has led Ray J to be admitted to a Las Vegas hospital. This comes just a month after the “What I Need” artist told fans he would be hitchhiking from Tampa, Florida, to Los Angeles as he announced a new reality series, “Celebrity Hitchhiker,” on Instagram.

In videos shared online, Ray J is seen lying in a hospital bed as doctors examine his chest. He is heard asking whether his heart will need to be taken out due to chest pains or possible blood clots caused by pneumonia.
